Step-by-step layout#

A form consists of steps: each step displays one product with some of its options. This allows the customer to work through the form in manageable sections.

Adding a step#

1. Open the form in the builder
2. Click on ‘Add step’ at the bottom of the sidebar
3. Select a product for this step
4. Tick the options for that product that should appear in this step

If the current step is still empty, you can only add a new step once you have filled it in.

An option that is already in another step#

An option that is already used in another step for the same product is greyed out in the list — you cannot place the same option in two steps at the same time.

Reordering steps and options#

Drag steps in the sidebar to change their order. Within a step, drag the options to reorder them within that step.

Renaming a step#

1. Go to the canvas (the preview in the centre of the builder)
2. Click the pencil icon next to the step title
3. Type the new name and press Enter, or click next to it

If you leave the field blank, the step title will default to the product title.

Deleting a step#

Click on the bin icon next to the step. This is only possible if there is more than one step remaining.
